About Karen
I’ve always felt a deep pull toward helping others, especially during their most vulnerable moments. For as long as I can remember, people have naturally come to me when they’re struggling—whether it was friends opening up about personal issues or family members needing someone to listen without judgment. I realised I had a gift for empathy and creating a safe space where people felt heard.
Part of my inspiration also came from my own experiences. I’ve faced emotional challenges in my life, and going through those moments helped me understand just how powerful support and understanding can be. I know what it’s like to feel lost, and I wanted to be the kind of person who could help others find their way.
I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour—why we think, feel, and act the way we do. That curiosity, combined with a genuine desire to make a difference, led me to counselling. It’s not just a career for me; it’s a calling. I want to be someone who helps others heal, grow, and feel less alone in the world.

My Counselling Approach
"The most important thing I want clients to know is that my approach is grounded in empathy and respect for your unique story. I don’t see myself as the expert who “fixes” you instead, I walk with you, helping you uncover your own strengths, insights, and capacity for growth."
